On one hand Esha Gupta is looking forward to her debut in the tinsel town and on the other she had to suffer injury in her legs. The pain became so unbearable for her that she had to rely on medication to cure it.

Esha Gupta suffered from sprained ankles wearing high heels for the shoot. She was shooting for the film’s promo when she missed a step and ended up with a twisted ankle. As if this was not enough the model turned actress Esha had to shoot for a song for some other venture that very day.

A source present at that time informs

Esha Gupta sprained her ankle during the promo shoot. Initially, Esha ignored it and continued working but she started experiencing pain. Yet she took it in her stride and managed to complete the shoot in her stilettos before slipping into a pair of flats.

By next morning, her ankle had begun swelling up and needed medication. But there was no way she could skip the song shoot as the dates had been fixed much in advance. She reported for the shoot and managed to do the steps resulting in a completely swollen ankle.

Following the injury Esha Gupta was advised bed rest and wear only flat footwear if need be. The beauty pageant winner and the Calendar girl has been keeping low profile till the release of her film. She has been asked to refrain from the media stares as media is anxious that her first look hit the theaters before the actress starts making public appearances.

Interestingly Esha Gupta is said to have replaced the Sri Lankan model Jacqueline Fernandez in Emraan Hashmi starrer ‘Jannat 2’ when Jackie moved out of the film citing the issue of doing steamy scenes for the venture at the behest of her beau director Sajid Khan.
